    Prince Christian Eduard Kendrick Alamar

Post  KC on Tue Dec 03, 2013 2:52 pm

Prince Christian Eduard Kendrick Alamar is the son of King Eduard III and Queen Katrine and heir to the throne of Callander. His birth now 19 years previous brought a new sense of excitement for the kingdom as the Alamar royal family line was defined to carry on after Eduard’s life on the throne. The callandrian kingdom stirred by the news and with this brought a refreshed sense of pride.

Due to the continual threat of the lands enemies, King Eduard III declared his heir would be raised in the birthland of Queen Katrine, a southern land of callander named Aquinox. It is here the young prince experienced his childhood and the fresh faced prince with bold blue eyes and thick brown hair began training so that he would accomplish monumental tasks which lay in his future. Guarded by the queen’s army, Christian did have times to enjoy a childhood and whilst royal children were often spoilt his mentor Sir Leuric, Duke of Aquinox (Christians uncle) ensured boundaries were kept to keep Christian form developing arrogance.

Sir Leuric trained the prince in swordsmanship and falconry while Sir Baldewin, leading knight of the queens army disciplined Christian in knighthood so that he would join them in battle as soon as he was of an age permissable. Christian was not left out of learning to read, write and speak in different tongues, being capable of demonstrating such skills though his passion for living adventurously and his competative edge in sporting and war outshines such matters.

As Christian has grown and joined the knighthood he has participated in many tournaments including jousting, sword dueling, wrestling and much more. While the Prince has lived at his mother’s castle his outgoing nature has made him a constant viewable figure in public, adding to the faithful masses which live under King Eduard’s reign

On special occasions the prince would make the trip to Callander to spend time with his family where he was able to play with his younger siblings, Prince Phillip and Princess Sophia. Queen Katrine spent most of her time with her son preparing him for the idea that he should take a wife, a betrothed agreement to ensure his reign would start strong.

As Christian grew into a young teen he joined the knights of the queens army and entered into battle alongside the kings men where he watched his father sustain his position on the throne from the enemy and forge powerful alliances with neighbouring nations. He built muscle through long months of war and travel and eventually wrote to his father to express his desire to join the Kings private guard. King Eduard reluctantly accepted and summoned his son to join the family at his Castle in Callander. This news spread through the streets of the city like a fever and his arrival is highly anticipated.
